Here’s What’s Happening in Your Neck of the Woods

It has been a time of change and transition, and that welcomes new challenges and opportunities on a daily basis. Two months into the new adventure of graduate school at Mississippi State University, we’re back to the weather and Weather Unlimited.

There certainly has been no shortage of big weather stories to discuss – from Hurricane Matthew and its aftermath, to climate change, to the role of weather in the presidential election. Weather in the media has also been a topic, with The Weather Channel’s great coverage of Matthew, and the controversy of the glorification of storm chasers as experts. And with fall arriving, that means we are not too far away from talking about snow, sleet, and all that comes with winter storms.

So let’s get back to business, ladies and gentlemen, by getting back to the weather. Here’s what’s happening in your neck of the woods. We hope you enjoy it.
